General Information
Nestled in the
beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina, Deer
Valley Racquet Club, located in the city of Boone, is one of North
Carolina’s premier tennis and fitness facilities. DVRC is a
year-round private club with 6 outdoor and 3 indoor tennis courts,
both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, cardio, nautilus, and free
weight equipment rooms. The club employs a full-time tennis
professional, as well as an assistant pro, and offers both classes
and private instruction in tennis, fitness training, yoga, and a
number of other exercise disciplines.
The Deer
Valley Sports Shop is a fully stocked tennis and fitness pro shop,
offering clothing, equipment, and accessories, as well as racquet
stringing and consultation services from our Master Racquet
Technician. The club maintains a full year-round calendar of tennis
programs, including clinics and lessons, and both competitive and
social tennis tournaments and events. The club’s facilities are
available to non-members for charitable and other special events, on
a limited basis.
While tennis
remains the club’s primary focus, DVRC is truly a multi-sport,
family entertainment complex, offering
racquetball, indoor basketball, a putting green, ping pong,
billiards, and more. Plans are in the works to possibly add an
outdoor sand volleyball court, rock climbing wall, disc golf course,
walking trail, additional tennis courts, and expanded tennis
facilities.
